OH THE DRAMA! Straight from Iconic Gaboury Residence! This exceptionally rare mid-century dining collection was custom designed and built for renowned Canadian architect Étienne Gaboury, who proudly lived with these pieces in his private residence in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is a true honour to steward and rehome such an iconic, one-of-a-kind collection.
The design is a powerful reflection of Gaboury's architectural vision—bold, sculptural, and deeply rooted in an appreciation for form, material, and craftsmanship. The collection carries a distinctly Brutalist sensibility while remaining refined through its disciplined proportions and rich natural materials. The soaring, regal chair backs recall the iconic designs of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, while the strong horizontal lines and architectural presence echo the enduring influence of Frank Lloyd Wright. Together, these references create a collection that feels both monumental and intimately functional.
Crafted entirely from solid rosewood and upholstered in black vegan leather, each piece showcases exceptional workmanship and timeless construction.
