An iconic and rare set of Saddle Chairs by Franco Vattolo for IBISCO SEDIE, these Italian mid-century dining chairs embody a striking balance of architectural form, tactile materials, and understated craftsmanship. Each chair features a minimalist solid-wood frame constructed from broad, flat planks that define the legs and are contrasted by a single continuous panel of thick, camel-coloured saddle leather. Tautly suspended across the frame, the leather forms a sculptural, enveloping seat and backrest, creating a distinctive sense of lightness and comfort. The richly patinated leather displays natural variations in tone and an authentic aged character, beautifully complemented by the exposed metal rivets and fasteners that secure the upholstery to the wooden structure.
