Shipping, Delivery & Returns

SHIPPING

All items are shipped from Victoria, BC using Canada Post. Pieces will be shipped within 1-5 business days of receiving the payment of your shipping invoice. Clients have the option to keep their box open for a maximum of 2-4 weeks to bundle and save on cost of shipping. Exclusively available for smalls.

All shipping costs will be invoiced separately and will be in Canadian Dollars. On international orders, all duties, customs and taxes incurred are the responsibility of the customer. If you require any additional information regarding duties, customs and taxes in your country, please contact your local customs office.

What’s Lost And Found is not responsible for any items lost or delayed in transit.  After an item has shipped, it is no longer our responsibility. We are unable to replace or refund stolen packages or unretrieved packages that have been confirmed as delivered. We are not responsible for items that are not received due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address. We will always try our best to assist you in any situation.

Delivery times are only estimates, there can be additional delays if the package is crossing a border, or delivery falls during a holiday. We do not promise delivery dates or assume any responsibility for delivery times, as this is beyond our control.

We ship with Canada Post as we find this option to be the least costly, particularly when crossing borders. Canada Post will pass the package on to your National Post in whichever country you are ordering from. When a package crosses a border, you are responsible for any processing fees, customs duties or taxes charged by your country.

If an item arrives broken please send photos to whatslostandfound@gmail.com and we will proceed from there.

Local Pick Up

We are happy to arrange appointments at the Found Studio for pickups in Victoria, BC. Please select local pick-up when checking out. You will receive a follow up email to schedule your pickup appointment.

Delivery

Delivery is available for furniture purchases only.

Delivery on is only available to those on Vancouver Island, the lower mainland, and Calgary. Following your purchase you will be contacted to arrange a delivery date and time.

Deliveries are made:

  • On Vancouver Island weekly (or biweekly depending location)

  • To Vancouver biweekly

  • To Calgary bimonthly

All delivery costs will be invoiced separately and will be in Canadian Dollars.

RETURNS & Exchanges

All vintage purchases are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

Shipping costs for each object vary widely and shipping rates fluctuate, making it difficult to predict exact shipping costs per sale. Things to keep in mind are:

  • weight of the package

  • where the package is going

  • costs will go down the more items you add to your order

Below are rough estimates at what shipping rates could be. Following your purchase you will be invoiced separately and your order will not ship until your shipping invoice has been paid.

What’s Lost And Found is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen packages. Once the item is shipped it is no longer our responsibility. The user has resumed all responsibility once the package has left our premises. We are not responsible for delays caused by shippings errors, or customs. Shipping time may exceed the estimate due to factors outside of our control.

Your purchase is vintage and should be expected as such. Any major flaws are always noted and informed to buyer. We do believe that the quality and character of your item comes from the life its lived. Any vintage lamps may have vintage plugs, and though we inspect and rewire - it is up to the clients discretion to use/ update if they feel necessary

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. All sales are final. Exchanges, returns and cancelations are not permitted.
