This striking vintage Art Deco wardrobe armoire, dating to the 1920s–1940s, is a quintessential showcase of the era's focus on geometric sophistication and rich wood veneers. Crafted primarily from warm walnut, the cabinet features a beautiful vertical grain pattern across its curved, tripartite facade. The crowning design element is a dark, scalloped burl wood veneer section spanning the top of the central door, which creates a dramatic, cloud-like contrast against the lighter wood tones below. Its streamlined, stepped silhouette exhibits a subtly undulating, serpentine front and a gently curved base line typical of stream-line design trends. A single decorative yellow silk tassel hangs from the central keyhole, providing a classic, practical pop of contrast to the rich wood finish. Interior bones are quite bare, aside from the perpendicular dowels for hanging and our custom wood dowel and with solid brass accents ready for desired hanging. Optional hooks available.
