A striking collection of high-back dining chairs crafted in Yugoslavia circa 1960s, beautifully constructed in solid beech and reminiscent of the Windsor-inspired “King’s chair” form. Their tall, slender backs introduce a minimalist drama to the room; clean lines rising upward to create presence without heaviness. The original stain carries a rich, time-softened patina that highlights the warmth and grain of the wood, giving the chairs an unmistakable vintage soul. We have thoughtfully reupholstered the seats in a textured mid-century mushroom fabric, adding a softness and warmth that feels far more inviting than the original cold vinyl; however, vinyl upholstery can be arranged upon request for those wanting a more period-authentic look.
