20” h approx

A rare and striking Dancing Nudes lamp produced by the storied Phoenix Glass Company, often associated with the celebrated Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company. Dating to the Art Deco period of the 1920s–1930s, this extraordinary piece features martele-molded glass with a rhythmic procession of dancing figures wrapped around the shade, their forms softly emerging through the textured surface. The design reflects the influence of René Lalique, whose work popularized sculptural, frosted glass relief during the era. Here, the glowing glass transforms the scene into something almost theatrical when lit, the figures appearing to move in warm relief through the lamp’s gentle illumination. Both functional lighting and sculptural art object, this one-of-a-kind piece captures the sensual elegance and craftsmanship of early 20th-century Art Deco glasswork.

Excellent vintage condition, no major flaws to note. New updated wiring- as found.
