Calling all collectors! This incredible historic artifact, with clay sourced from the beaches of Dallas Rd Victoria, was moulded and crafted by the hands of Emily Carr. Emily Carr is one of Canada’s most well-known artists. Signed ‘Klee Wyck ?’ which are two of her most common signatures, the question mark and ‘Klee Wyck’ her indigenous name which means laughing. I find this piece very powerful with its simplistic form and wabi sabi characteristics. It is very organic and unforced. Estimated to be approximately 100 years of age. PRICE IS FIRM.
